  • Summary
    • Randomized trial to examine the effects of storytelling versus a routine way of communication regarding patient compliance for colorectal cancer screening. The intervention in this study is to show a storytelling-style video to patients and compare the effects of this style of communication on a patient's intent to be screened for colorectal cancer. It will be compared to a usual style of communication that does not include a storytelling-style video. The results will compare the effectiveness of both styles on: a.) patient's intention to screen and b.) actual follow through to screen for colorectal cancer.
